About Jesus
God loves you so much that He gave His only son Jesus. Through Jesus, we can know
peace,
joy, and abundant life.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him
should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent Not His son into the world
to condemn the
world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” –John 3:16-17
Jesus said, “ I am come that you might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.
”— John 10:10
There is a problem. Sin separates us from God.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”--Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.”
–Romans 6:23
I have good news. Jesus died for your sins! He paid the price for sin so that
you
might have a relationship with God through Him, and so that you might enjoy
a
home in heaven when your life on this earth is over.
But God commanded his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died
for us.” --Romans 5:8
For God has made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made
the
righteousness of God in Christ…” –II Corinthians 5:21
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, “Behold the Lamb of God
which
taketh away the sins of the world.” –John 1:29
What must I do to obtain this relationship with God? It's simple.
You must receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
“
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto
the
Father but by me.” –John 14:6
Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see
the
kingdom of God . Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”—John
3:3,7
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart
man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”— Romans 10:9,
10, 13
For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have
I
helped thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of
salvation.”
– II Corinthians 6:2
Salvation is a free gift for all who are willing to receive Jesus as Lord and
Savior.
It cannot be earned.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of
God:
not of works, lest any man should boast.”—Ephesians 2:8,9
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy
he
saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” –Titus
3:5
Would you like to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior? Would you like
to
know for sure that you're going to heaven? If so, then receive the gift of
salvation
now by following these simple steps:
- Realize that you need Jesus because of your sins
- Turn away from your sins
- Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord!
- Invite Jesus to come into your life.
Pray this prayer our loud to receive
Jesus:
Heavenly Father, I come in Jesus name to confess that I have sinned. I am
sorry
for my sins. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all wrong
doing
in Jesus name. I believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead so that I
can
now have eternal life. I receive the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal
Lord
and Savior. I confess Jesus as my Lord!
On the authority of Your Word, I am now saved. I have eternal life and will live the
rest
of my life for you, Jesus. Heavenly Father, thank you for making me Your child and
giving
me eternal life! In Jesus name, Amen!
If you prayed this prayer and you were sincere in your heart, you are now saved! You
have
eternal life! Find a Bible and begin to study the New Testament, especially the first four
books.
The Bible is a love letter from God to you, so as you discover the promises that God has
for you,
you can begin to claim them as your very own. Here are two examples:
I John 1:9 says, "If we sin and confess our sin that God is faithful to forgive us our
sin and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The Bible says that you are now a new
creature."
II Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature; old things
are passed away; behold, all things are become
new.”
